CVL Registration - Frequently Asked Questions

Cambrian Valley would like to provide everybody with "Registration FAQ's" for the 2008 Season. Many questions have been asked about Registration, the most frequently asked questions can be found below.

Question:

1. How much does it cost to register?
2. What are acceptable methods of payment for registration?

Answers:

1. How much does it cost to register?
Registration is $210.00 for one participant, Football or Cheer. We deduct $25.00 from each additional child registered for Football or Cheer. You save if you register more than one child with Cambrian Valley Youth Football and Cheer.

2. What are acceptable methods of payment for registration?
We have three (3) methods of acceptable payment for securing a roster spot with Cambrian Valley Youth Football and Cheer:


A. On-Line Payment (PayPal, Electronic Check or Major Credit Card)

B. Mail-in Payment (4718 Meridian Ave #106, San Jose, CA. 95118)

C. Walk-in Payment (We’ll have Walk-In Registrations, please check our Activities calendar).

3. Can I register by mail?
Yes, you can register by mail. Please visit our forms section and download our 2008 Registration Form. Complete all items on the form and mail your form with payment method to Cambrian Valley Longhorns, 4718 Meridian Avenue #106, San Jose, CA. 95118.


4. Can I register in person?
Yes, Cambrian Valley will have walk-in registration sessions. Our sessions are typically held at Round Table Pizza on Camden and Union. Please check our Activities Calendar for Walk-In registration date and times.


5. Can I register On-Line?

Yes, you can register on-line with Cambrian Valley Longhorns. This is the preferred registration method and it’s: fast, easy and secure! You can begin our on-line registration process here. Please note a $10.00 processing fee will be attached to all registrations placed on-line.

6. What documents do I need to complete and provide to you for registration?

7. When does your early bird registration expire?

Our current registration fees are $210.00 per registrant. Registration fees will be raised to $250.00 per registrant, after March 31st, 2008.


8. What is the last day I can register my child for your football or cheer program?
WILL BE UPDATED SOON!


9. Are there any fee's associated with your on-line registration?
Yes, we apply a $10.00 Processing Fee for all on-line registrations placed on-line with Cambrian Valley Longhorns. This fee will automatically be added to your registration total.

10. What is CVL’s refund policy?

A refund will be granted ONLY upon injuries that disable an athlete from participating in registered activity before event begins (a $75.00 processing fee will be withheld). A Doctor’s note must be submitted with a written request from Parent/Guardian. No other refunds will be granted. Our “NO REFUND POLICY” is to protect the integrity and success of the organization, as cancellations effect everyone involved. Moreover, fluctuating numbers lead to the cancellation of an event.


11. Are they any additional fee’s for uniforms besides your registration fee?
There are no additional fees.  We do, however, require each participant to participate in our annual fundraiser in which the participant has the option to either (i) sell 10 discount cards at $10.00 each or (ii) opt out for $50.00.
