Peninsula Pop Warner comprises 35 Bay Area Pop Warner teams to include CVYF. This association ensures that all rules, training, safety, and academic are consistent across all teams your child will play.
USA Football is the governing body for youth football in the United States. They provide a wealth of training and safety standards to help make football a better, safer game.
Leigh High School is home to the Leigh Longhorns and provides an effective, safe, and welcoming facility to host both practices and games..
Injury Response
Each team division has at least two coaches certified in CPR and first aid response and all coaches are certified in concussion awareness and response.
Game Day EMT
Every game is required to have at least one emergency medical technician on staff. EMT staff are supplemented by certified coaches on both sides of the field and Player Safety Coaches.
Sports Physical Exam
Every youth football and cheer participant must have a medical screening and approval from a qualified examiner. CVYF, through USA Football, has partnered with CVS Pharmacies to provide low cost sports exams.
